Super in the mood to watch all the Halloween Town movies. Whilst eating the cookie dough I bought today.

I also signed up for my next semesters classes and I am sort of panicking about all my life decisions but it's whatever. That's normal right?

I've been binge watching Stranger Things for the past couple days so that's why I've been M.I.A. just in case you were wondering. I definitely cried a little 20 minutes and 44 seconds into Episode 8. 

I think that animals who have developed adaptations to defend themselves whilst being eaten are the weirdest things. Like, "Today I only almost got eaten twice so it's been a good day."

I ran into a girl with the same backpack as me and she got excited and said, "We're backpack twins!" And that was the extent of our interaction. It was great. I'm pretty sure we're best friends now.

I semi shamefully admit that I created a mutual account that I originally didn't intend to actually use but then I swiped up on a guy named Raul and turns out he had swiped up on me too so I don't really know where to go from here. But his bio suggested In-N-Out would be a viable first date option so swiping up seemed like the right thing to do.

Twice today people offered to plug in my computer for me because they were closer to the outlet and that was the nicest thing ever.

More of the nicest things ever? Wearing a comfy pajama shirt but disguising it as a normal shirt. And letting your hair out after it's been pulled up tight all day.

I totally spaced that it was a Tuesday which means I had work. So an hour into my shift I'm still at home lying on my bed and it dawns on me that I had work and I just book it and I get there and Sam is like, "Hey Anna. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone that you're late. So you're good." It was the nicest thing ever.

Also, if you are for some reason my current employer and are reading this, please forget you ever saw it. I would never forget about a shift. Stocking overpriced produce is my passion.

My roommates and I are like 79% sure that our apartment is haunted because things (mostly light fixtures) are constantly rattling. It can actually get kind of loud and the loudest one is in my room and  that makes it significantly harder to take my procrastination naps.

Also: we went to DI today (it was Kailey and Melissa's first time considering there aren't any DI's in Washington) and looked for Halloween costumes and I found the perfect old lady outfit complete with shoulder pads and I can't wait. If you're craving a butterscotch on Halloween, I'll be your gal.

Also it's my half birthday today so naturally I made a cake and wore a cow onesie.

So now I'm eighteen and a half and I've never been kissed but that's okay because that just means my life still has the potential to be like Drew Barrymore's character in Never Been Kissed.

Pro Tips from Anna:

• Don't sneeze with a tight choker on, it is absolutely terrifying.
• Dads have the superpower to make you feel ten times better 
• Temple trips are best with people you love who will rub your back while you're waiting to get into the font. (I'm talkin' bout you Rach.)
• Midterms for Bio 100 are hundreds of times more fun if you label the finished product as, "The Finally Finished Web Story That Looks Hecka Awesome."

I am loving fall on campus, there are leaves pretty much everywhere. I cannot begin to explain to you how tempted I am to roll around in all of them.

Eliza is reading this hecka weird book called Lily of the Manor and she explained the whole plot to me and now we have been explaining the plot to our roommates one at a time and it just gets funnier and funnier.

Had crêpes with my French class today and also discovered that I am doomed to failure if I continue on procrastinating everything the way I have been. So it's been a pretty productive day.

• Melissa made chicken noodle soup
• We decorated the windows on our floor Star Wars themed using sticky notes
• Halloween lights
• Quote walls

Izzy and I made the greatest pumpkin with the word "debt" in all caps on it because that seemed like the scariest possible thing to think about.

It's actually two am the next day because I have a terrible sleep schedule.

Legitimate question though: where do you find the colored walls that make great backgrounds for pictures?

Also last night Rach and I went to a Nacho Libre movie party at some RM's off campus housing and there's a sign above their door that says "Get Married" and if that's not the essence of BYU culture then I don't know what is.

Fun fact: one of the guys roommates turned out to be unicycle guy from about a week and a half ago!

*Update: Rachael is now dating this boy. His name is Matt. I think they very well might get married*

Okay, real talk: there are some pretty messed up things going on in the world and I've been thinking about it a lot today. It scares me to know that there are people without any freedoms and children who grew up without families. There is so much confusion and hate and fear and I like to think that changing all that starts on an individual level. Individuals making differences in the lives of other individuals.

Isn't it great when you're sick and you tell people and they respond with "Yeah you look sick." Like thank you, because that's definitely what I needed to hear when I'm feeling like someone stepped on my face.

Funny story: I am stocking produce, just chilling with my potatoes and this cute boy customer asks me how I'm doing. I told him I was doing pretty good and asked how he was and he was like, "I'm good." Then there was this awkward silence so I asked him if he had any questions and he got kinda red and said "I was going to ask you where the produce bags are but they're right here." So I laughed and told him I was glad I could help. Then he said "Yeah thanks so much, I love you." He promptly walked away but then like two minutes later he asked me what my favorite color was and then he left and it was really weird but actually the cutest thing that's ever happened to me.

I found another potato today! This time is was at the base of the "Start Here" sign they have up behind the HBLL. It was glorious.

I'm pretty sure I sneezed at least seventeen times today.

I taught my first official Sunday School lesson today! I had a lot of help from my uber prepared teaching companion Jonah, and it went so great! 

Everybody thought it was really funny that I tell myself I did all that excercise walking back from campus so I deserve to use the elevator.

Last night I drove a girl that I work with home so that she didn't have to walk in the dark and now we're friends. If that's not pure then I don't know what is.

I have to wear this weird nose thing for a sleep apnea test & I feel sorta like Hazel from Fault In Our Stars but mostly it's just tickling me every time I breathe.

I promise you I really was gonna go to bed on time but then I started a puzzle and it took me longer than I thought it would. I was in too deep and I had to finish.

Also I desperately want to see Anastasia on Broadway. Somebody please take me and I will love you forever.

Today during work a very cute boy playing the ukulele was pacing back and forth the produce aisle. I was worried that maybe I was in front of something he wanted so I made eye contact with him and smiled and he smiled back and said, "Do you guys have any pears?" Funnily enough he was standing right in front of them and when I pointed them out he got all flustered.

I have so much to do to prep for my French test I might die.

On the bright side, I got mini decorative pumpkins!
